The LaCie 2big Quadra Enterprise Class has been developed for professionals who expect both speed and capacity from their storage and backup device. Designed for a RAID tower, they have been developed with rotational vibration resistance technology, helping them to be even more reliable and robust.

Developed for performance and capacities, the LaCie 2big Quadra Enterprise Class takes full advantage of its internal RAID controller and its server-grade SATA internal disks that feature 7200RPM and 32MB cache memory to offer amazing speeds. Pre-configured in RAID 0 for maximum performance, it can reach up to a 220MB/s transfer rate through its eSATA interface and cables with 24K gold-plated contacts. Offering high quality transfer, these gold plated contacts help the LaCie 2big Quadra Enterprise Class be the perfect solution for creative professionals who need to preserve digital content properties such as RAW photo colors or sounds quality.

The LaCie 2big Quadra Enterprise Class features the option to implement a government-grade 128-bit AES hardware encryption through its easy-to-use LaCie Desktop Manager software. This software helps to protect your data integrity against unauthorized access. The LaCie 2big Quadra Enterprise Class also features protective RAID modes, such as RAID 1, for full data security. With its automatic RAID security rebuild and its hot-swappable technology, it has been developed to work in tandem with you, effortlessly.
