Delivery can be to any UK address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. All deliveries must be signed for including items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox. Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.
When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order.
All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Small parcels may be delivered via Royal Mail. Aztec Computers aims to deliver your order within the time-frame specified at checkout (if provided). We will make every effort to full-fill your order within this time-frame, (or if no time frame has been specified, within a reasonable period of time) but we cannot be held responsible for delays due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control. In this case we will contact you, and deliver your order as soon as is reasonably possible. In the case of AVG products, delivery of the license key is by e-mail, and can take up to 24 hours to process. The AVG product is fully usable during this time, and for up to 30 days. In the case of all other items in the store, we use a variety of couriers (FedEx, UPS, City-Link, TNT or RoyalMail) as standard, shipments can be tracked, and are insured. Delivery options are chosen at checkout. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
Email Delivery of AVG License Key & Certificate: Usually with in 4 Hours, please allow up to 24 hours for orders placed on weekends or overnight.
Standard Delivery: Please allow up to 3 Business Days. Most orders are delivered in 1-2 business days.
Orders that qualify for free delivery will be shipped by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded post. All orders are shipped as soon as posible. The majority of our orders are delivered the next business day after placing the order. However, this will depend on the cut-off time when we can place the collection order with the courier. As a general rule, (due to our location) the cut-off time for us booking a collection of your order is midday. All orders are shipped on a next business day basis. If you need your next day, please call us on 0845 899 1249 to check whether we can get the order collected in time. In certain circumstances and for certain products we may be able to arrange a direct shipment from the manufacturer on a next day basis.
The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.
Delivery will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time.
Aztec Computers will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.
Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Aztec Computers shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.
Postage
You will only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order and your chosen delivery service. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order.
Force Majeure
Aztec Computers shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Cancellations & Returns
Under Distance Selling Regulations you have seven working days, from when your order is delivered, to cancel the order. As part of the SafeBuy scheme, we offer a further seven days to you giving a total of 14 days. You must notify us of your intention to cancel your order in writing within these 14 days. You are required to take reasonable care of the goods during this period. We are required to refund you in full within 30 days. The cost of returning the goods will be your responsibility. We advise you to use a secure/insured method of delivery for the return of the products (such as Royal Mail Special Delivery or interparcel.com for heavier items), as items that are lost or damaged whilst in your care, are your responsibility.
Any request for cancellation after this period will be dealt with on an indvidual basis. This does not mean we will automatically grant the request. We may offer an exchange, or offer to refund the item, less a percentage.
There are certain circumstances where we do not have to give you the above cancellation rights. These include any goods made or supplied to your personal specifications, such as Computers. We do not have to give you cancellation rights for Sealed Computer Software which has been opened or had the seal broken. In the case of Electronic delivery software, trial versions are available before you place your order. Please use the trial version to determine the suitability of the product before purchasing. Once the unlock key has been delivered, your rights to cancel are waived.
Domain Name Registrations or Hosting Services for Domain Names, are considered services under the distance selling regulations, and as such would be subject to the 14 working day cancellation period noted above. The service therefore cannot be started until this period has expired. However if you would like us to start the service immediately you can agree this with us but that means that you will loose this right to cancel. It may be in your best interest to start this service immediately, as your chosen Domain Name(s) may not be available after this period has ended.
If you find your goods to be faulty within a reasonable time after delivery, we will (subject to confirmation of the fault) exchange the goods or refund you in full.
Please contact us for a Returns Material Authorisation (RMA) number before sending any product back. Your RMA must be clearly marked on the outside of the package, and on a slip of paper inside of the package with the product (Please do not mark the actual product or product packaging).
Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.
This returns policy does not affect your legal rights.
Cancellation of Orders
You are able to cancel your order prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. You can cancel an order by following the links on the Aztec Computers website, or by phoning us on 0845 899 1249.
All orders are processed as quickly as possible and in the order that they were received. We try and ship all orders on the day that we receive them. Due to our location we have an earlier cut-off time of midday for being able to book same-day collections with most couriers. If your order is for a samller item that can be shipped by Royal Mail, it will be collected from us by Royal Mail at 5:00pm.
