A: We accept the following debit and credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Maestro / Switch and Solo cards. Q: Can I pay with PayPal? A: Yes. We can accept PayPal payments. To checkout and pay with PayPal, please choose the SAGE Pay checkout option. Once securely transferred to SAGE Pay, you will see an option to login to your PayPal account and complete the payment process. Q: Can I pay with American Express / Amex? A: No. At this time we are unable to accept American Express cards. Q: Do the prices shown on the website include VAT? A: Yes. We display our prices includng VAT for items and for delivery charges. The items also display an excluding VAT price for businesses. At checkout a full VAT breakdown will be shown, and on completion of your order a full VAT invoice will be emailed to you. Q: I don't have a credit or debit card. Can I still place an order with you? A: Yes. We can accept payment by cheque or bank transfer. For full details, please call our local rate number 0845 899 1249. Your order will only be sent after the payment has cleared into our account. Q: Is my payment secure? A: Yes. All payments are handled by either SAGE Pay or Google Checkout. Both payment providers offer secure sockets layer (SSL) data encryption, and our own payment pages are secured with a a 128 bit SSL certificate provided by Equifax. At no point are your card details stored on any of our servers, and we do not have access to any of your card details after your purchase has been made. Q: Can I place an order over the telephone with you? A: Yes. You can place an order over the phone and provide your card details to one of our team. When you place an order over the phone our team will input your card details directly into the SAGE Pay secure payment gateway, once the card details have been entered and processed, we no longer have access to the card details. For the safety and security of your card details, and our staff, it is preferred that you complete your purchase online if you have a credit or debit card. Q: When will you charge my card? A: For items in stock your card will be charged as soon as you complete the checkout process. Q: I'm placing a back-order for an item out of stock, will you still charge my card at checkout? A: If you pay by Google Checkout, then your card will be authorised but NOT charged until the order is ready to dispatch. If you pay by SAGE Pay then your card is charged immediately. As SAGE Pay is a live real-time payment gateway, we have no control over this. We suggest that for back-orders you use Google Checkout. |
